ALMOST TIME FOR SANTA and I AM SO BUSY

Well it is almost time for Santa to come. I am getting excited to go home and spend time with my family. this year my grandmother from ILL. is coming and going to stop by and see us. I am really excited to see her. This past weekend we went to my house for my nephew Haydens 8th birthday party. He had a blast and got lots of great things. We wanted to get him roller skates but when I went looking for them not a single store had them. So we ended up getting him a christmas book, paint glittering pens, and these really cool markers. He loved them and did not even mention not getting roller skates.

He had a great birthday and really enjoyed some friends from school to come. We then went with my dad and the boys to see a movie with dads movie club. They watch all these old and new western type movies for free. We went to see miracle at sage creek. It was a really good movie, you might have even seen a little tear drop falling down my cheek. We left saturday night and came back to Manchester because I had to get to studying for my exams.

I did not get much studying done Sunday afternoon, instead I cleaned and worked on our Christmas cards. They are going out this week. Then I got a call from the family I lived with in Manchester before Marcus and I got married, asking me if we wanted to go to a Christmas dinner show at opryland Hotel. It was the Louise Mandrell Christmas show. We said sure. Lee said this was a test to whether or not we could accept a gift!!! So Monday we left at about 2 to get there to get our tickets. I was so excited cause we were able to dress up and have a romantic evening a much needed evening. We got there and saw that it was $18 for parking at the hotel. Keep in mind I was in high
heels and I don't like walking very far in them. We were not going to pay that for parking so we went to the mall side and parked there and walked over to the hotel. It was not very far, but we had to go to one side of the hotel to get the tickets then back to the other side where we came in for the show. Needless to say I have blisters on my feet. We got in line for the show and saw that we had to be the youngest ones there by about 30 years. It was funny and we got lots of stares. I was in a cute black dress with red heels, and this old lady in a wheel chair kept staring at me and making comments to her friends. She also kept making comments about my flower tattoo on my foot. I just wen
t on my merry way and ignored her, but oh how I wanted to ask her what her problem was , and say have you never seen a gorgeous girl before. LOL But I kept my cool. It was so hot at the hotel we were burning up and had to wait for a good 30 mins before they let us in the ballroom for the dinner and show. We finally got to sit down and eat. The food was amazing and the show was also amazing. Lousie only performed for about an hour and then we left. We were going to walk around the hotel and look at the lights but my feet hurt and I just wanted to sit. We walked a little to get to the exit where we came. It was so beautiful and I think we might go back before christmas and visit some more.

So we got back at about 9 pm. We were so tired that we did not stay up late and went to bed. I am now trying to study for this Lit exam on Wed which is tomorrow, but instead I am on here blogging.
I also have all the Christmas presents wrapped for his families Christmas's this weekend. After tomorrow I will be be done with school and have a month to study for my Praxis test I have to take in Jan. This is a test I have to pass to get into the program in the fall. I have already taken it once and failed it by four points, so wish me luck and lots of prayers. Marcus is going to help me study for it and prepare the best I can. So, these next couple of weeks are going to be so busy so it will be after the holidays that I will be able to post anymore. So I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas and A Very Happy New Year....
