The middle

So Marcus and I have been married for almost 6 months. So far married life has been great. It's not easy all the time but we have been enjoying it. We are about to celebrate our first Thanksgiving and Christmas as a married couple together. I put the Christmas tree up on Tuesday not thinking that Marcus wanted to help so he was a little upset. I told him I was not done that he can still help decorate with me. I love Christmas time. My family always made a big deal about Christmas. The lights, decorations, cookies, and food galore. I tell people that my parents house during Christmas looks a bit like the Griswalds Christmas, but better. So needless to say I can't wait till we have a house and can decorate on the outside too.

We both are in school. Marcus is getting his masters and I am getting my Education degree k-6. I hope to graduate in the next 2 1/2 years. He should graduate in the next year or so. School has always been difficult for me but I am doing the best I can. Marcus has been very supportive and I am so glad he is because I am not sure what I would do if I did not have any support. We are looking forward to having a normal income once I am out of school. It has been difficult but if we can live this tight right now and still make it then we can do it when we are making more money.

We are heading to Missouri for Thanksgiving to Marcus's grandfathers farm. We always have a blast there. Four wheeling, food, good family, lots of kids, cold weather and shopping. We always have a blast. This year his brother and his Fiance are coming. I am excited about having another person my age to hang out with during this time...
